CIVITAS CARAVEL Summer University
The cities of Genoa, Burgos, Krakow and Stuttgart, their public transport operators, industrial partners, and research institutions have defined a common project proposal entitled CIVITAS CARAVEL. The idea of the in total four units of the CIVITAS CARAVEL Summer University is to share the experiences and the knowledge gained in CIVITAS CARAVEL with students and young professionals from all over the world.
Summer University Burgos - Unit 1:
"Learning from the experiences in CIVITAS CARAVEL" - with this slogan CIVITAS CARAVEL invites students and young professionals to the CIVITAS CARAVEL Summer University!
The first unit will take place in Burgos, Spain, from July 9th to 11th, 2007. and will deal with "Citizen and Stakeholder Involvement in Sustainable Mobility".

The CIVITAS CARAVEL Summer University in Burgos will start on Monday, July 9th, 2007, with opening lectures of professors from the universities in Madrid, Burgos and Cantabria. On Tuesday, July 10th, 2007 the experiences from the four cities taking part in CIVITAS CARAVEL will be presented. Alberto Cappato will explain Mobility Marketing and the Mobility Forum in Genoa, Ulrich Vogt will present the Round Table and the Citizens Poll in Stuttgart to improve the Clean Air Program of Stuttgart, Lukasz Franek will speak on citizen and stakeholder involvement in Krakow, namely at the Krakow University of Technology, and Jose Maria Diez will give an insight view in the experiences in Burgos. On Wednesday, July 11th an exercise and a site visit in Burgos will round up this unit of the CIVITAS CARAVEL Summer University in Burgos.

Who?
The CIVITAS CARAVEL Summer University invites students and young professionals from all over the world to participate. The participation at the CIVITAS CARAVEL Summer University is free of charge. Participants only have to pay for travel costs and accommodation.
